September 5: 3hr workshop from 9:30 to 12:30
Learn to draw, pen & ink and watercolour painting of sea creatures
This Family workshop is mostly aimed at beginners, so if you’ve never drawn or painted before – this course is for you! Inter-generational participation is encouraged. Ages 5 and up are welcome. No prior art knowledge experience is necessary. However, this workshop is comprehensive that even intermediate students will also learn a lot about art theory in an exciting and motivating way. In this workshop, you will learn how to utilize line and form to create proportion and basic principles of pen & ink and watercolour painting in a fun, friendly style that is encouraging and easy to grasp. This program has been developed by the instructor and offers examples of 100 drawings/ paintings of sea creatures inspired from national geographic to choose from.
All materials provided:
Drawing pencils, micron pens, 140 lb watercolour paper, Ecoline liquid watercolours by Talons. These paints are eco-friendly and are of high quality with lovely colour vibrancy.
