Birth

Artist: Keri-Anne Chyzewsky

Exhibitions:

There is something luminous and sacred unfolding in Birth. Keri-Anne Chyzewsky brings us into a winter dreamscape where frost, breath, and light converge in a moment of transformation. A woman, wrapped in soft whites and pale blues, gently exhales — and from her breath emerges a glowing orb of golden warmth. The gesture is tender, almost reverent, as if she is releasing life itself into the world.
Above her, a white heron lifts in powerful ascent, wings wide against a sky washed in icy blues and textured snow-laden branches. The bird feels both guardian and messenger — a symbol of renewal rising from stillness. Snowflakes shimmer with hints of gold, echoing the light held in the orb below. The interplay between cool winter tones and radiant warmth creates a visual dialogue between dormancy and emergence, silence and creation.
Within The Spectrum of Love, this work speaks to love as genesis — the love that births ideas, children, healing, and hope. It captures that fragile yet powerful threshold where something new takes form. There is vulnerability here, but also immense strength. Love, in this piece, is not passive — it is generative, luminous, and brave.
