Keri-Anne Chyzewsky is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative practice spans mixed media painting, sculpture, lyric writing, and the production of bespoke songs. Rooted in the extraordinary Pontiac region of Québec, she also serves as the President of Art Pontiac, where she champions artistic community, cultural storytelling, and the preservation of local heritage. With deep family roots woven into Québec’s cultural history—as well as a Austrian lineage that informs her sense of craft, discipline, and artistic sensitivity—her heritage forms a rich foundation for her work.
Keri-Anne’s visual art moves fluidly between Narrative Impressionism and Impressionistic Realism, allowing her to explore story and emotion through both expressive and grounded approaches. She is drawn to the profound, ancient bonds between humans, animals, and the natural world. Every work is guided by intuition—colours chosen to reflect an evolving emotional landscape, compositions shaped by story, and textures that echo the organic rhythms of life.
Her paintings unfold through luminous layers of movement, colour, and light. Loose, expressive brushstrokes symbolize freedom and creation, while impressionistic realist elements offer clarity and emotional resonance. Light plays a central role in her work, illuminating the heart of each narrative and adding depth and vibrancy.
Keri-Anne believes that art is a catalyst for change, with the extraordinary ability to reach the deepest parts of us—to stir memory, awaken emotion, and shift perception. This philosophy fuels every medium she embraces.
Her sculptural practice extends these stories into three dimensions, giving physical presence to emotions that transcend the canvas. Her lyric writing and bespoke song production offer yet another way to transform feeling into form, weaving story into melody with honesty and sensitivity.
Her background as both a General Contractor and Interior Designer also shapes her artistic sensibility. Her intuitive understanding of light, colour, space, and texture informs every artistic decision. “A room is like a painting,” she reflects, “capable of evoking profound emotion—joy, serenity, romance.”
For Keri-Anne, art is not something she merely creates—it is the language through which she experiences the world.
“Art is a passion that feels more familiar to me than my own skin, and even when I am sleeping, I dream about it.”
