DUMOINE RIVER REFLECTIONS. Doors open today at the Stone School Gallery for our last exhibition of the year which runs from August 31 to Sept 24. Sponsored by the Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS), the show features more than 50 works of art by some 20 artists.
Every year, since 2017, CPAWS has hosted an annual artist residency known as DRAW, along the Dumoine River, to create work that reflects the natural beauty of the Dumoine and its sister rivers. Come to see the drawings, paintings and other pieces from this and previous year expeditions which reflect what this wonderful wild river is all about! By purchasing one of their works of art, you contribute to ensuring these wild areas will remain available for the future enjoyment of all.
