June 27

with Louise Butler

REDUCE – REUSE – RECYCLE – RECONFIGURE – RECREATE!

Do you have a mountain of unfinished, dated or less than perfect works cluttering your art studio? If so, bring them so that you can repurpose them to create unique works using the elements of collage and mixed media.  Let’s have a mixed media adventure!

What to bring:

  • Black and white acrylic paint
  • Mark-making tools – watercolour, graphite, alcohol markers or sticks, or pastels
  • Paint brushes – cheap flats to use with adhesives, fine round brushes to draw with
  • Found papers, Japanese papers, textured papers to use as accents
  • Fabric cuttings, threads, felt leftovers
  • Cutters – such as Cricut shaped cutters
  • White tissue paper
  • 140lb watercolour paper  – 5 pieces cut to 15 x 15 cm (6” x 6”)
