This studio tour invites the public into the workin g spaces of artists and makers\, offering visitors an intimate look “bey ond the easel” at the talent and processes that shape our artistic commu nity.\n\nWhether you're an established artist\, an emerging creator\, or a vendor\, we’re thrilled to have you join us.\n\n Event Overview\n\nDa tes: August 7\, 8\, &\; 9\nDaily Tour Hours: 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ( minimum)\nExtended hours are encouraged and will be highlighted in promoti onal materials.\n\n Eligibility &\; Participation Requirements\n\n2.1 Artist &\; Vendor Eligibility\n\n Open to visual artists\, makers\, c raftspeople\, and creative vendors with a studio or booth space appropriat e for public tours.\n Vendors located within another registered studio mu st coordinate with the hosting artist.\n\n2.2 Professional Standards\n\n Spaces must be clean\, safe\, and publicly accessible.\n Studios should b e organized to allow comfortable visitor flow.\n A courteous and professi onal presence is expected at all times.\n\n\n Insurance Requirements\n\n All participants must maintain:\n\n Personal liability insurance\n Profe ssional insurance appropriate to their practice\n\nProof must be available upon request.\n\n Signage &\; Visibility\n\nStudios must ensure:\n\n Clear and visible signage from road or walkway\n Additional directional signs if necessary\n Optional decorative elements such as flags or banne rs to enhance visibility\n\nOfficial Beyond The Easel signage will be prov ided.\n\n Hours of Operation\n\nParticipants must be open:\n10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at minimum\, on all three days.\n\nExtended hours (early ope ning\, late closing\, demonstrations) may receive additional promotional e xposure.\n\n Fees &\; Payment\n\n\n $150 – Non-Members\n $100 – Members\n\nFees support event promotion\, signage\, administration\, and map distribution.\n\nPayment instructions will follow acceptance.\n\n To ur Map Listing &\; Promotion\n\nParticipants may submit:\n\n A high-re solution logo (PNG/JPG)\n Contact information\n Studio address\n A shor t description of their work (30–50 words)\n\nThis information will appea r on the official Tour Map and digital promotions.\n\n Safety\, Conduct\ , &\; Compliance\n\nParticipants agree to:\n\n Adhere to safety and ac cessibility laws\n Keep their studio supervised\n Maintain clear traffic paths\n Treat guests and other participants with professionalism and cou rtesy\n\n\n Cancellation Policy\n\n\n Cancellations 60+ days before the event may receive a partial refund.\n No refunds are issued less than 30 days before the tour.\n\n\n Agreement\n\nSubmitting the application sig nifies agreement to all guidelines\, policies\, and requirements.\n\n Li ability &\; Responsibility Clause\n\nArt Pontiac serves solely as the o rganizer and promoter of the Beyond The Easel Studio Tour.\n\nBy participa ting\, each artist/vendor acknowledges and agrees that:\n\n Art Pontiac i s in no way responsible or liable for any accidents\, injuries\, damages\, losses\, claims\, or legal issues arising from visitors entering\, tourin g\, or interacting within individual participants’ studios or vendor spa ces.\n Participants accept full responsibility for maintaining a safe\, i nsured\, and compliant environment.\n Any claims or legal matters origina ting from a participant’s space are solely the responsibility of that pa rticipant.\n Participants agree to hold Art Pontiac harmless from any rel ated claims.\n\nThis clause is binding upon participation.\n\n You will b e provided with unique stickers for vendors to apply to the back of the ad vertising studio tour card.
