Art Pontiac is assembling an extraordinary creative team for one of are largest fundraising events. The Fusion Couture (Evoking light, life and transformation) Fashion Show is taking place in the first week of June 2026—and we want YOU to be part of it!
This ambitious event will feature walking sculptures and wearable artworks, using everything from fabric and textiles to pottery, glasswork, metalwork, mixed media, and experimental materials. These one-of-a-kind creations aim to draw regional attention—including coverage in major Ottawa-area publications—while raising essential funds for Art Pontiac’s overhead and youth programming.
We are looking for passionate, innovative individuals for the following roles:
Clothing Creators & Art-Makers
Not just sewers!
We are seeking fabric artists, sculptural creators, textile innovators, ceramic artists, metalworkers, glass artists, and mixed-media designers to help craft remarkable wearable artworks.
Makeup Artists & Hair Stylists
Help build the runway aesthetic with imaginative makeup and hair that enhances the artistic vision of each creator.
Photographers & Videographers
Capture behind-the-scenes creation, promo materials, and the spectacular runway moments.
Runway Coordinators & Backstage Crew
We need organized, energetic people to keep everything flowing seamlessly—from timing to model prep to stage transitions.
Advertising & Marketing Team
Help us build excitement, manage promotions, and spread the word for this high-profile artistic event.
General Volunteers
