Exhibition Options
A solo exhibition features one artist and runs for approximately one month.
Exhibition Fee
- Members: $500
- Non-Members: $650
Commission on Sales
- 25% commission retained by Art Pontiac
- 75% paid to the artist
Included Services
Art Pontiac will:
- Review the exhibition proposal and artwork
- Install and hang the exhibition
- Host an opening reception with light refreshments
- Promote the exhibition through social media and the Art Pontiac website
- Supervise the gallery during open hours
- Handle sales transactions
- Provide wall labels and basic exhibition signage
Group exhibitions may include 2–5 artists sharing the gallery space.
Exhibition Fee
- $500 total gallery fee
The participating artists divide the cost.
Example:
5 artists = $100 each
Commission
- 25% commission on any artwork sold
All artists must provide an exhibition proposal for review by Art Pontiac.
Curated Group Exhibitions
Art Pontiac occasionally organizes curated or themed exhibitions.
Examples:

- community exhibitions

- Artist Responsibilities
Artists participating in an exhibition:
- Provide an exhibition proposal and images for review
- Supply ready-to-hang artwork
- Provide inventory lists with titles, medium, and pricing
- Maintain their own insurance for artwork
- Arrange shipping or delivery if required
- Submit promotional materials (bio, images, logo if applicable)

- Sales & Payment
Art Pontiac will manage all gallery sales.
Sales procedures:
- Artwork sold through the exhibition is subject to a 25% commission
- Artists receive 75% of the sale price
- Payments to artists will be issued by the third week of the following month
- Promotion
Art Pontiac will promote exhibitions through:
- Social media
- The Art Pontiac website
- Gallery signage
- Email communications where possible
Artists are also encouraged to promote their exhibitions through their own networks.
5. Gallery Supervision
During exhibitions:
- The gallery is supervised by staff or volunteers
- Security cameras monitor the upstairs gallery
- Visitors can contact the shop attendant downstairs if assistance is needed

- Reduced exhibition fees
- Priority consideration for exhibitions
- Access to workshops and events
- Eligibility for Artist of the Month
Annual membership supports the continued growth of the Pontiac arts community.

Standard exhibition duration:
Approximately one month
Dates are scheduled in coordination with Art Pontiac.
- Sponsorship Letters
Art Pontiac may provide letters of support for artists seeking sponsorship or funding for exhibitions.
- Final Approval
All exhibitions are subject to review and approval by Art Pontiac.
The gallery reserves the right to decline proposals that do not align with the gallery’s mission or programming schedule.
