IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SPECIAL MEETING for Members of our Association , other artists and members of the community on the future of artPontiac, THURSDAY 9 November, at the Stone School, 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The public is welcome but only Members may vote. Doors open at 5:30 for refreshments. We welcome participation by Zoom, as well.
This is to let you know that the Board made a presentation, Wednesday, Oct 11, to the Regional County of the Pontiac, in Plenary Session, requesting renewal of our Lease Agreement at no cost. A Council Decision is pending. If positive, this will be a very important element of our continued efforts to maintain and improve artPontiac’s position as a key promoter of arts and culture in the Region.
In addition, today we have submitted an application to Culture Outaouais, under their new Tremplin initiative, to secure expertise and consultancy services at reduced cost to assist us in securing the government funding needed to cover key elements of our program next year.
