Attention! It’s a party! Make some space in your day this Saturday, March 25, to join us at Cafe 349, 349 Main Street, Shawville, from 5 – 7 pm, to celebrate the current exhibition of art from the 2022 Dumoine River Artists Retreat. The exhibition is hosted by the Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS-OV). Every year, since 2015, CPAWS has hosted an annual artist residency along the Dumoine River just north of Swisha. Come out of hibernation to enjoy the show and learn about this year’s Retreat (Aug 2-5). It’s a chance to mark the arrival of Spring surrounded by art, enjoy the refreshments and learn what CPAWS is doing to protect our precious rivers.
