Handmade Book with Case Binding

August 7 and 8

Students will begin by making a piercing cradle, weight, and corner cutting guide to take home. Basic skills will be taught and reviewed by making several pamphlet books and the cover assembly for your book. On the second day, participants will learn how to prepare, assemble and sew signatures to create the text block. Once the cover assembly has been added, you can sit back and admire your work!
