In this drawing, pen and ink and watercolour course students will explore the fundamentals of these three artistic elements in the subject of birds in their surrounding environments.
Through in-class demonstrations, students will explore representational drawing, learning how to see, positive and negative space, using line, volume, proportion, colour, and mark-making.
In this lesson you are going to explore a few pen and ink techniques – enough to produce excellent pen and ink (microns) as well as line and wash with quality watercolour paints. Students will have a choice of over 60 examples of reference drawings to choose from created by the instructor. A variety of skill level references will be available.
